Welcome to SocioSMS. This short guide walks you through everything you need to rent a temporary virtual number and receive SMS messages — from topping up your wallet to closing the activation.
1. Top up your wallet
Open the Wallet tab and tap Top Up. Choose a payment method (card, bank transfer, or crypto) and the amount. Funds appear in your balance instantly after the payment is confirmed.
2. Choose a service & country
Open Services, search the platform you want to receive a message from, then pick a country. Each row shows the live price and the delivery success rate reported by the provider.
3. Rent the number
Tap Buy. The number is reserved for you and appears in the Activations tab. Use it as your contact number on the platform you selected.
4. Receive your SMS
Messages usually arrive within 30–90 seconds. The app refreshes automatically; you'll see the SMS in the activation card and can copy it with one tap.
5. Complete or refund
If the message arrived, tap Mark complete. If no message arrives within the activation window, tap Cancel and the full amount is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Safety tips
Some platforms restrict virtual numbers. If a country fails, try a different one — pricing and success rate are shown live.
Never share the SMS content you receive with anyone outside the platform that sent it. SocioSMS staff will never ask for your codes.
Numbers are temporary. Once an activation is closed, the number is recycled and you will not receive further messages on it.
Keep your account email and password safe. Enable biometric unlock under Settings → Privacy & Security.
